Do we actually exist?

Don’t you ever doubt on your existence? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ We are running after so many things, working hard day and night to achieve success. But what if all these days, people, you, in short everything turns out to be a dream itself and when the dream is over, everything is over’ ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
I do not actually remember the exact thing but few months ago i read a book ‘Waiting for godot’. Its a very different kind of a play written by Samuel Becket. I wasn’t even able to understand it properly in the beginning but i eventually did understood and also realised something. This play made me question about my existence. That we do not exist. ” In this part of my story i am the one who dies.” If death is something we all have to accept in the end then why aren’t we living our lives joyfully? What are we worried for? Something that will never remain with us forever? Why are we running after things when it is your happiness which matters? Why don’t we accept every situation and let it go, for life has to go on.
I am not saying one should stop aiming for goals. But this thing should be accepted in terms of failure. For people who takes this “failure” thing too seriously which can be in terms of a relationship, success, etc should start accepting the fact that failure is a part of life. So, optimism is the first thing that you must adopt. Start living your life with a positive attitude, be determined, devote yourself towards your goal, and see the magic. coz life is too short and time is running. It won’t wait for you. So enjoy every moment of your life as your last. #stay happy. ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ˜‰ โค โค

  1. Interesting view, but guess what, I won’t worry about what happens after today I’ll make the best of every moment. So should you, and I happen to be in position of waiting for godot but never watched it now I think I want to.

    1. Thank you very much.. i agree with the fact that one should not worry about everything now and then and should make the best of every moment. For it is only hope because of which we plan things for future. For we have faith in the universe that we would be able to see tomorrow, the day after and until โ€˜weโ€™ actually expire instead of the days. That, you my friend can consider it as the sole reason why we should worry about what happens after today.. well, we and everyone is, are and will be waiting for godot for the rest of our lives in this way.. thank you for expressing your opinion ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

  2. Thanks for sharing…an awesome post and perspective…you make a very astute observation…why do we focus on shortcomings and fear of failure when it is all part of life? We need to seek balance and not get tangled up in beating ourselves (and others) up for actual and/or perceived failures…there is so much more to life, and only so much time to live it all…let’s hear it for optimism ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I believe the reason humans are unable to live joyfully even though they have to embrace death one day I is becoz of the fact that they don’t know what is in store for them after death or whats death to be simple. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Dear Ritika, your post is great! We actually are fake as we keep running after fake things all our lives. We tend to realize the reality when we are close to our departure… a sad truth.. we don’t live our lives but we fear death all the times..

    1. Thank you very much ๐Ÿ˜€ But this is human nature ๐Ÿ˜ฆ . We are like this. Never gets satisfied. The only thing that we could do to improvise things is by adopting optimism. It is of great help ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚
